The Best Chicken Parmesan





Ingredients




Marinara Sauce:


✅1 Tbsp olive oil


✅1/4 cup finely chopped yellow onion


✅2 garlic cloves, minced (2 tsp)


✅1 (28 ounces) can beaten Roma tomatoes


✅1/4 tsp dried oregano


✅2 clean basil sprigs*


✅salt and freshly floor black pepper




Chicken:


✅2 (8 ounces) boneless, skinless bird breasts, butterflied and separated, and pounded to half of-inch thickness


✅2 ozentire-milk mozzarella cheese, shredded (half cup)


✅2 oz.Provolone cheese**, shredded (1/2 cup)


✅1 huge egg


✅1 Tbsp all-reason flour


✅1 half of ouncesParmesan cheese, finely shredded (1/2 cup)


✅half cup Panko bread crumbs


✅half tsp garlic powder


✅1/four tsp dried oregano


✅1/three cup olive oil


✅1/four cup torn clean basil




Instructions


✅For the sauce, warmth 1 Tbsp olive oil in a medium saucepan over medium-excessive warmness.
